Level Designer
About The Position
The Sandbox is a metaverse, a virtual world where players can build, own and monetize their own voxel gaming experiences on the Ethereum blockchain, using NFTs and our main utility token $SAND.
We are building a deeply immersive gaming virtual world metaverse where creators get the chance to make games next to gaming giants and brands such as Snoop Dogg, The Walking Dead, The Smurfs and more.
What we expect from you:
- Create experience content by using GameMaker and VoxEdit
- Design land-atmosphere and create level designs for various metaverse worlds
- Prepare level design documents for the early concept stage for various IP concepts
- Level design will be based on external partner IP’s (GUCCHI, SM, Pororo, K-league, Adidas, etc.)
- Example 1 / Example 2
Requirements
- 3+ years of Level designer related work experience
- Business Level English required
- Working in our office in Seoul
- Game design experience
- 3D map-based design experience
Preferred experience
- Unity or Unreal engine experience
- MMORPG, Adventure, FPS game genre development experience
- Minecraft, Roblox content creator
- Have a good understanding of The Sandbox
- Experience with working the Sandbox VoxEdit / GameMaker
- Have experience with The Sandbox Gamejam event
- Have a good understanding of Blockchain system infrastructure and contents/use case
- Curiosity around the NFTs and Cryptocurrencies
