Your Mission

We are looking for a fearless, results-oriented individual to join our Growth Team. As a User Acquisition Specialist, you’ll be working closely with our Head of User Acquisition to build out, manage, and optimize a portfolio of paid media channels.

As one of the first 20 hires on the US Growth team, you will play a crucial role in helping to build out our paid media strategy and playbook, and have a direct impact on strategic company initiatives, including virtual land sales and new season launches. The ideal candidate enjoys, and is able to remain process-oriented in fast-paced working environments. They are proactive, scrappy, and highly adept at balancing between speedy execution and the strong analytical rigor/attention to detail needed to excel at media buying.


● Launch, manage, and optimize campaigns on social and programmatic channels to support key growth initiatives

● Analyze campaign performance; identify opportunities to scale and improve efficiency

● Work closely with Head of UA to source, evaluate, and test new media channels to grow and diversify sources of valuable traffic

● Generate detailed spend and performance reports to present to leadership

● Assist in new partner onboarding. Includes setting up event tracking, reporting, attribution, and partner IOs

● Develop deep channel expertise for key channels. Understand available ad formats, placements, buying strategies, creative best practices

● Work closely with Head of UA to build out operational processes that will enable our team to scale with efficiency

● Stay informed on ad tech and industry trends with a focus on identifying relevant opportunities



  • 2+ years of relevant experience in User Acquisition or Media Buying
  • Strong track record of managing campaigns on Facebook and other social channels like TikTok, Snap, Twitter, and Reddit
  • Foundational understanding of mechanics of programmatic ad buying and bidding strategies
  • Direct experience onboarding new partners
  • Very strong attention to detail
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Good understanding of principles of statistical analysis
  • Able to excel in fast-paced startup environment with shifting priorities

Nice to have

  • Experience trafficking campaigns on web/desktop
  • Experience marketing gaming or web3 products
  • Building out dashboards for performance marketing
  • Used Notion, either at work or personal use
