Sr Build Release Engineer
About The Position
The Sandbox is looking to incorporate an experienced Sr. Build Release Engineer to work on our blockchain based gaming platform.
You’ll be responsible for ensuring products can effortlessly be delivered to internal and external users and customers using different distribution mechanism and methods.
You’ll be in charge of our build release infrastructure. You’ll maintain our CI and CD flow, improving it and adding new tools and features to optimize our release workflow. For his you’ll work closely with developers and manager, evaluating the needs and designing strategies.
You’ll also be responsible for maintaining our build machines and source control solution.
Responsibilities
- Support The Sandbox Tech Tribe by handling operations.
- Take ownership of several processes we run on a daily basis.
- Deploy smart contracts.
- Follow up on blockchain transactions.
- Keep several of our environments in sync.
- Maintain and help optimize existing systems.
- Contribute to building our internal tooling.
- Create groundbreaking new features for our users and for internal use.
Requirements
- Degree in computer science/information technology or relevant professional experience.
- 4+ years of experience as a build release engineer.
- Deep knowledge of Jenkins (or similar CI/CD tools) platform and GIT source control system.
- Knowledge of scripting languages used in build pipelines (Shell, Python, etc).
- Proactive attitude and strong attention to detail and quality.
- Able to work in a collaborative and distributed development environment with excellent time-management, organization, and communication skills.
Nice-to-have:
- Experience in the gaming industry.
- Experience with OSX, iOS, and Android.
- Experience with Unity build pipeline.
