Operations Engineer
About The Position
We are looking for an Operations Engineer to help revolutionize the way we create, play, and share gameplay in our blockchain decentralized metaverse.

Responsibilities
- Support The Sandbox Tech Tribe by handling operations.
- Take ownership of several processes we run on a daily basis.
- Deploy smart contracts.
- Follow up on blockchain transactions.
- Keep several of our environments in sync.
- Maintain and help optimize existing systems.
- Contribute to building our internal tooling.
- Create groundbreaking new features for our users and for internal use.
Requirements
- Minimum +1 year of working experience in a similar position or as a backend developer.
- Top-notch programming skills.
- Knowledge of a back-end programming language (preferably Javascript, we use Node.js in our backend).
- Experience working with SQL/NoSQL databases (preferably MySQL and Redis).
- Version control with Git.
- Strong organizational skills to juggle multiple tasks within the constraints of timelines.
Nice-to-haves
- AWS, Kubernetes certifications
- Solid understanding of modern software architectures, specially Microservices/Serverless architectures
- Basic knowledge of cryptocurrency and blockchains
